Spider man 3 "cinema Critique"

Absolute Value

This scene is from a 2007 film, directed by Sam Raimi, who has not only directed spider men but others fiction movies that have also gain a lot of attention.

The scene starts with the main character( Peter)  looking up to a church, the church does not have a name and I think that is because the director doesn't want the audience to grab much a attention on the name of the church but on what is about to happen. In addition, the climate is rainy and with lighting, I believe the director was trying to let the audience know that something bad was about to occur. As  Peter looks up to the church he sees, immediately the shot chances to the black spider men sitting on top of the church. Now in my personal opinion this was a well done job from Sam Raimi, because not only did the people not know what was about to happen, but because it was cool and an interesting shot that grabbed lots of attention.

Happy Gilmore  " Cinema Critique"
This scene is from a film made in  February 16, 1996 directed by Dennis Dugan, who has also made movies such as, Grow ups 1 and 2, Just go with it, and Big Daddy. Having made all of those movies, and most of them being well known, you can easily come to the conclusion that his an expert and good at he does.
The scene starts with the main character " happy"  sitting at the bar drinking a beer, now we can't really see what brand the beer is, and I think the director did that because he didn't want people to focus too much in the beer but in the main character. After a few seconds a guy comes up to "Happy" other known as the bad guy. As he walks up to the bar he gets pretty close to Happy, know we can say two things from this, either the bad guy wants to tell Happy something he doesn't want other people to hear, or that the camera angle was to be there other wise it wouldn't fit.As he continues to tell Happy that what he is doing is a mistake and that he is a freak, happy being known for an aggressive guy, doesn't let no body punk him, so he immediately turns around and talks back to the point of breaking the beer bottle in order to let the bad guy know that he ain't playing. the surroundings are pretty dry, because its just him and the bad guy. and I think that because the director wants all the focus on them. The lighting is hitting straight to happy and the other guy, which in my opinion hits perfectly and well done. the scene ends with happys girl interfering the argument and eventually making the bad guy leave.
